Welcome to our New Elders!

This week we formally welcomed two new elders to our Elders' Home.

We would like you to meet Damete, an elderly gentleman who has been living with leprosy. Damete is one of two new elders, who recently joined our Elders’ program. He lives in his small government subsidized house and will now be receiving much needed support such as food, clothing, medical care, love and friendship as he joins our HFK family and all of our Elders’ Home activities.

Both Ato Damete and Weyizero Werkenesh were warmly received by all of the elders and staff who attended this special ceremony. It was a memorable afternoon filled with lots of laughter and joy. We are excited about growing our elders family and coming alongside these two special people!

Damete and all of our well-deserving elders are needing additional sponsors who will come alongside and help bring dignity and hope to their lives.
