Visiting the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco

The Honorable Ambassador from the Kingdom of Morocco graciously hosted our independent Artisan Basket Weavers at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, Addis Ababa. 

Our women were contracted to outfit the new embassy with custom baskets, which are prominently featured throughout the embassy. We are deeply grateful for this incredible opportunity, and we will never forget the hospitality shown by the Honorable Ambassador and her staff. This was such a dignified and restorative experience for so many of our women; to be served tea and cookies on silver plates, and to be recognized and appreciated for their beautiful hard work and craftsmanship.
