A group of HFK students were thrilled to explore the new science museum that has recently opened in Addis Ababa!
The children were so excited and engaged as they asked questions and received explanations about the significance of each exhibit. As a facility that is acclaimed as "progress towards envisioning the future of technology in Africa's digital transformation," it has interactive displays and information about local solutions in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, data analysis, cybersecurity, geographic information system(GIS), service industries, and robotics (Economic Commission for Africa, 2022). It was a special and exciting opportunity for the students, many of whom have had very few field trip experiences. A highlight for many of the kids was having the opportunity to practice assembling car robots!
