It All Began with a Stuffed Unicorn

When Trisha and her family were searching for a family to sponsor, a photo of a little girl clutching her beloved unicorn stole their hearts.

Trisha shared, "Semegen was so happy. She looks well and is a great mom. She has high aspirations for the future and is raising some great girls. Her love for them is evident in how she keeps her house, talks to her girls, and cares for what they are doing. I even got to hold the stuffed unicorn that started this whole thing!!!! Mom was also so proud of her baskets, and I bought several. Then she made a special gift for me and my daughter. I'm just so happy to have met her and to see all that she is doing. The light in her eyes was so beautiful."
