This last week, HFK held its first two-day "Personal Development and Leadership" training for fathers. Led by Yohannes Yadagne, a gifted communicator and expert in Reconciliation and Leadership the men were inspired to take their first steps on a transformative journey.
They discovered that true change begins with a shift in perspective, learning to convert past challenges into opportunities for personal and leadership growth. The fathers encouraged one another to stand alongside their wives, fostering collaboration and openness to new ideas.
Through candid discussions and introspection, they unearthed their inherent strengths and value. This developing sense of self-worth, combined with a commitment to family unity and a broadened outlook, has brought renewed hope and optimism for their futures.
As the training concluded, the men were very grateful and shared how this had never been role modelled or taught to them before. They expressed enthusiasm for continuing this journey together, applying what they have learned, and eagerly anticipated future sessions.
