Graduation Day!

One of the highlights of this trip has been celebrating the graduation of 18 women from our HFK Family Empowerment Program.

Over the course of three years, these women have successfully completed all six phases, transitioning to full independence and self-sufficiency in either the employment or small business track. Together, with the support of HFK, they formed an SHG (Self-Help Group) and, in addition to their own personal savings, their SHG has collectively saved over 200,000 ETB! What an incredible accomplishment!!

This milestone moment gave us the chance to reflect together on their incredible journey—how they have moved from a place of hopelessness to becoming part of a supportive community filled with hope and opportunity. It was truly a joy for all of us, to celebrate these incredible women and all they have worked so hard to achieve!
