In Loving Memory of Esubalew

All of us at Hope for Korah, are heartbroken and deeply saddened…

 

Many of you have been fervently and consistently praying for a dear young man in our program named Esubalew, who has been desperately fighting for his life over the last three weeks.

Sadly… this past Sunday morning in Ethiopia… Esubalew passed on from this world. He was 17 years old.

For those of you who may not have known Esubalew, this young man was an integral part of the Korah community. Regardless of his leprosy and vacillating health condition, he engaged fully with our program and even attended “Life Skills Training” a few weeks earlier. He was helpful to his mother and around the home, quiet and soft-spoken, with a gentle nature. Esubalew’s absence will be felt by many.

Please pray for Esubalew’s mother Berhane, who is wrought with grief over the loss of her son. Please pray for comfort for Esubalew’s two brothers, his family and friends who are reeling from shock over the sudden passing of a key member of their inner family circle. Esubalew was deeply loved and he will be deeply missed.
