International Women’s Day carries immense significance for us at Hope for Korah!

We eagerly embrace every opportunity to celebrate the achievements and inherent beauty of all the girls, young women, and mothers involved in our programs. Our daily efforts in Korah are primarily focused on empowering women through trauma healing, adult education, vocational and business training, while also facilitating access to healthcare, counselling, and fostering community connections.

Witnessing the profound transformation from pain and exhaustion in a mother’s eyes to enthusiasm and hope is one of the most inspiring experiences as we engage with women in Korah. As they embrace motherhood, recognize their self-worth and societal significance, and embark on the challenging journey of overcoming trauma and breaking free from the poverty cycle, these women begin to shine, emerging as pillars in their neighborhoods and exemplars of true empowerment.
