Natnael's Education

Before his family joined HFK, Natnael often had to skip school to work as a shoe shiner, earning extra money to help his mother provide for their family. Despite the distance from his home to our Youth Centre, Natnael has shown remarkable dedication to attending HFK's after-school tutorial program, determined to make the most of this educational opportunity. HFK's youth social workers and tutors have noticed significant improvements in Natnael's academics. A well-behaved 13-year-old, Natnael has strong relationships with his family and friends and enjoys playing soccer in his spare time.

This coming school year, Natnael has been enrolled in Grade 8 at Tigat School, a private school that offers a higher standard of education with smaller class sizes, quality teaching, and greater support from teachers. This Educational Sponsorship will cover his tuition, uniform, textbooks, school supplies, after-school tutoring, youth activities, and a nutritious Berta Breakfast every morning before school.
